My name is Joshua Mouser, and I operate as a freelance photographer for local news outlets, with a specialization in sports and wildlife photography.
My upbringing on the Outer Banks during my high school years has afforded me numerous opportunities to engage in photography. I have collaborated with Nighthawk News and the Shorelines Yearbook at First Flight High School, where I have captured images at various sporting events, ranging from junior varsity lacrosse to NCHSAA championship matches and meets. In addition, I have had the privilege of working for both online and print news outlets throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. I possess a strong passion for exploring the outdoors, which allows me to discover and document local wildlife.
The majority of my photographic work is concentrated on sporting events; however, I also derive great satisfaction from wildlife photography. I often visit the National Alligator River Preserve to observe and photograph various forms of wildlife.
My commissioned work primarily involves paid sports photography, in which I focus on capturing the images of athletes and their families during events. Furthermore, I offer limited-size prints of my wildlife photographs.
Should you, your family, or friends wish to be featured as subjects in an upcoming game or event, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss scheduling arrangements.
